"This was our first visit to Kilconquhar Castle Estate and it was a lovely break away. Bedroom (17) was clean, modern and spacious. Staff at breakfast time, afternoon and evening were very efficient and friendly, nothing too much trouble. We used the swimming pool and sauna which were super. Our only criticism was the bed was too small (kingsize would have been more comfortable) and the duvet too heavy. We were also unable to open the window (keep it open overnight) for some reason. "The receptionists and other workers were very welcoming and professional and helpful and accomodating.I dont like the rule of the hotel about you cant bring outside food(cooked) like pizza and food in box etc., into your room.That is the worse rule you can have at a hotel without a proper explanation that makes sense.Was told guests complain about the smell.That cant be.Because if a restaurant is on property,how does that explanation make sense.If one is worried about rats and cockroaches...

"Lovely room with a large comfy bed, bathrobes as well which is always nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was we had a connecting room which meant we could hear the people next door. Lovely continental breakfast. Hotel is close to restaurants, bars and Ocean Terminal shopping centre."

"We were welcomed by the front desk with big smiles and Champaign. The location of this hotel is stellar, perfectly central to everything including the Waverly train station and very safe. I traveled with my daughter and we confidently explored the area after dark. It was a very short walk to all attractions, we didn’t uber once. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable, bar and restaurant lively and energetic. I couldn’t be more please with our choice to stay there."
