"Hotel Tara Machapicchu sits near the top of the hill in Aguas Calientes (named after the nearby hot springs) and sometimes called Machapicchu (after a nearby mountain). "The staff was very rude during check-in and had a difficult time communicating with them. Beware that this is truly an eco-friendly place where they only provide one key per room so if there are multiple people in one room, it makes it very difficult. The size of the rooms was great, but the shower curtain had some mold on it and the sheets were extremely itchy,I felt like bugs were crawling on me every night! The room included breakfast, which was absolutely the best breakfast I’ve had in Peru....
