"From the website images, we thought it was too small for us. However, we managed and felt it was a great experience. Everything in the room is well designed and enjoyed the cleanness, technology comfort and convenience. The ground floor amenities are so good for everyone especially drinks. I have asked multiple times of getting hot water and every time I felt welcome by the staff. Citizens M is a very well managed hotel that makes the guests comfortable. Will stay here again if we visit L A later."

"This property was booked specifically for the rooftop pool and views, which were meant to be the highlight of the trip. Unfortunately, the room was incredibly cramped, and the primary advertised amenity was completely inaccessible. The pool deck was closed off for a loud private event that was completely inappropriate for a standard hotel guest environment. Staff on-site gave conflicting timelines about when the event would end, but the disruption lasted the entire evening. Because the pool has limited daytime hours, there was no opportunity to use it the following morning either. The customer service recovery was nonexistent. Multiple staff members acknowledged the issue and promised a substantial refund and managerial follow-up. Instead, only a token credit was issued, and subsequent promises to investigate and return phone calls were completely ignored. It is poor business to block access to a major advertised amenity without prior notice to paying guests, but the broken promises and total lack of professional follow-through are the main reasons this property is not recommended."

"I really never write a bad review but they were fixing up somethings and the guy that brought in the truck with supplies was slamming boards at 9a.m. At 8a.m. they began cleaning rooms and the cart was super loud we had to get up and we only slept like 5hrs. I guess thats there way of saying get out! When the staff said I didnt have to put down a deposit I should have known. He asked me to pay for the night and I said I think I paid online and he said NO NO you didnt pay now. I checked my booking and he was right but he could have been professional. There was a hole in the middle of the bed sheet. Attaching pic.Its ok if you are gonna stop for a few hours of rest I guess but other than that never again."

"This is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff. No issues there. There were a couple things I didn’t like about my stay here though. For some reason the lobby floor has a strong perfume smell which made my stomach turn. The pool was very far away from our room. The restaurant has an amazing view but it was very expensive for what came on the plate. And overall I wish the Westin honored the beauty of this property a little bit more. It feels like all decisions made are based on the idea of what can we spend the least on and charge the most for. This hotel is one of the most beautiful architecturally in all of LA but the Westin has taken away from that by trying to make a buck."
