Good value for money but would have been nice to know it was under renovation. Good thing we were there on a weekend as Mon am we woke at 7 am to nail hammering noises. Our room had been recently renovated so it was in good shape. It was cold at night and there was no heat yet in the building. I asked for an extra blanket and was given a sheet. The staff at reception were very helpful with bus directions, calling cabs etc.

Apart from the very good breakfast, this Ibis Budget was not up to the standard that is usually set. The premises were run down and dirty. There was no bath mat. It fronts onto a freeway ramp so is difficult for taxis and ubers to access

Very good value for the money

This Ibis is a good value. It is basic, but all that is needed is in place. A comfortable clean bed, good housekeeping and hot shower. It was especially good to have very decent air conditioning during the incredibly hot spell that hit Europe. The sfaff was helpful and supportive and English speaking. For basic travel at a fair price I highly recommend.

IF YOU HAVE AN EXPENSIVE MOTORCYCLE DO NOT PARK IN THE APPARENTLY SECURE HOTEL UNDERGROUND GARAGE BECAUSE IT IS NOT SECURE! The garage needs a seven number code to enter or leave the garage. At 0430 it was possible for thieves to steal my motorcycle which had a disc lock on the front wheel and a chain on the rear and exit the garage using the apparently private (residents only) code. Response at desk was poor and uninterested. The CCTV was useless and it was not possible to review any footage due to problems with the system. Consequently the police would not be able to review the footage (if any exists) and collect evidence. The manager’s contribution was to say “we will use the theft of your motorcycle to get senior management at Ibis/Accor to improve/upgrade the CCTV.” The fact that up to four criminals (required to lift the motorcycle) were able to either pass the front desk and enter the garage from the lobby or enter the garage using the confidential code at 0430 and steal the motorcycle is worrying and raises questions about how this could happen in a respectable hotel chain. In the circumstances I feel badly let down by the hotel.
