We chose the hotel due to its proximity to the downtown and old town area by public transport; and because it has an underground parking. The hotel is a bit dated but nice.

Good choice near Part Dieu train station

Just a two night stay to visit friends in Lyon. Easy to get to on the Tram out of Part Dieu train station. Area was good since there was a McDonalds and a grocery store to buy wine. Front desk people were pleasant. There was an on premise restaurant/bar but not open for lunch or dinner.

Good

It was good overall but definitely not 4 star level. The room itself was new and modern but the hotel was narrow and the only restaurant was undergoing innovation so that didn’t help give the hotel a better image. Staff were nice and friendly.

The property was not up to the Mark. I have seen the phone in the room was not working. I’ve seen water in the kettle. I really should be empty and cleaned. Bathroom was flooding. In addition I checked in late almost close to midnight and I have asked the night manager if there is any food I can have he said he can arrange for some fruits and he did not turn up. The overall experience was disappointing.

Liked: Very close to a bus stop and also to a metro. Small shops in the vicinity (open until quite late at night) are very convenient. Staff were very friendly and accommodating Could be improved: Iron and ironing board not standard in the rooms (One can ask for it, but then it later gets taken to other rooms, and one has to re-ask). For a four-star hotel, I would have expected this to be standard. Staff member directed me to the wrong bus stop. Perhaps it was just a misunderstanding, but he did see it on my map, and did say the correct bus, but sent me to the wrong bus stop.
