Great old place but needs some love. Bed ok pillows not so good. Heater works well but not towel rack. Water gets hot but not great pressure.

I genuinely couldn’t fault this place. Incredible location and great staff who were welcoming and helpful! Think I’ll be staying here again

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Crown Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the staff were welcoming and friendly and ensured that we had everything we needed. The hotel had spacious rooms and a good restaurant. Did not use the pool but it was a confortable place to stay.

Lynton itself is a lovely , quiet and tranquil place stay stay . The tapas restaurant in town is highly recommended. The coastline surrounding it is dramatic and beautiful , I would highly recommend Heddons Mouth the Valley of the Rocks.
If you enjoy walking this is an ideal central area. Very picturesque.

Wonderful walks available just outside the hotel door. In a quiet side street.Charming town only a few minutes (4) away.And all of Exmoor right there,if you have a car. For a bit of fun... Minehead is only about 20 minutes.Trad "seaside".Steam train!
