"Perfect Stay! The house itself is in great condition—everything was clean, charming, and comfortable. Gordon and Maggie were lovely hosts who gave excellent local suggestions, and the breakfast was fantastic. They even went out of their way to make me a full vegan breakfast and were incredibly cautious with food allergies. On top of that, the property surrounding the B&B is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend!"

"Carvery was poor. No gammon, uncooked cauliflower stems, pease looked as if the had been. Left for hours, Yorkshire very dry and rubbery. Breakfast poor selection of only very green very hard apple and orange. No butter only flora. No meusli. Poor food all round."

"The room was fabulous with a big comfortable bed. All the staff we met were friendly and very helpful. We were travelling with our dog so couldn’t eat breakfast in the main restaurant but we ate in the tavern instead which was lovely and quiet. We could pick from their menu or order anything from the main restaurant including the buffet too. In the evenings we ate in La Vista and again took our dog, the first was great and again we were well looked after. My only negative would be the cost of...

"Wonderful one night stay. Comfortable and clean. Great directions provided by the owners. Would be a great spot if you have little ones as the shared space has a lovely play space. Toiletries were top notch."

"Clean, with nice staff just VERY dated. Noisy as next to busy road. Plus @ 2:30 in the morning it sounded like someone was using a weedwacker outside. Paid for the breakfast which was really good with alot of choices & hot cooked food. The Salon where they served food was beautifully decorated. If only the rooms & rest of hotel could look like that."
