"Excellent hotel. Close to the station, restaurants and convenience stores across the street or surrounding the stations. The breakfast restaurant had a vast variety and so even though we stayed 5 nights we didn’t tire of the food. A major plus is that the airport bus stops at the hotel. There are signs that the hotel is not new. But nothing major. One thing would be to have more electrical outlets near the beds and on the desk. Make sure to get a Skytree view room. Seeing the Skytree day or night always made me happy."

"Clean room. APA Hotels are expected to have a bit of a smaller room, but it was still comfortable enough for a solo traveler with just a standard carry on bag and a backpack. The public bath was refreshing. There is only one washer and dryer, but the downside is that the washer takes 30 minutes but the dryer needs 2 hours or sometimes more to finish so coordinating that can be a hassle. Somebody had actually taken my clothes out and put theirs in in the middle of my dry cycle which was kind of annoying. Also the temperature in the room can be warm at times especially during the day if your room faces the sun. The window at this particular hotel couldn't be cracked open to let the cool air in either which would've been perfect as it was 60F outside most nights. The cleaning lady was also very nice and helpful too. "

"The staff were very helpful. The room was clean and well maintained, although very warm even when turning down the thermostat. Have an option to choose amenities, tea, coffee, water, etc. is a great option and less wasteful than it automatically being set everyday. We had a wonderful stay, thank you!"

"This hotel has a good location in Ueno near Nakamise Market and Don Quixote and good local restaurants in neighborhoods. Also close to Ueno park and the Narita Express Ueno stop. The rooms are tight with a long thin hallway, and when you open the bathroom door you can't walk through the hallway, but the bathroom is clean and nice shower."
