"Great location in a quiet residential area. Close to many good restaurants and subway stations. The Tenement Museum is nearby. Hotel itself is clean and staff are very friendly. Breakfast is simple continental and could be improved with additional items. But this is not a big deal as Chinatown has lots of inexpensive bakeries and restaurants. Overall, nice experience at a very reasonable rate for a weekend trip to the Big Apple. I will stay here again . "
"The AC was not working in the room - we found it to be extremely hot. I did not inform the front desk as I was exhausted after a long day - but just letting you guys know!"
"The staff was very pleasant. The check-in process was smooth. The went the extra time to check if our room was clean for an early check-in. We were abls.to change and leave our bags to start our day. The room & bathroom were clean. Front staff was pleasant at check-out as well."
"Fantastic location on a quiet street but very walkable to lots of sites, especially good for the seaport area. The front desk staff was terrific: smiley, friendly, chatty, helpful. The need to up most of the room, but that’s NYC real estate right? Still, a very comfy room and bed. Housekeeping took care of us very well. Everything was clean and comfortable. Only negative was the breakfast area got very crowded, but there are plenty of other breakfast dining options nearby. "
"The hotel mention when booking that I will stay in the street-view room, but the real life is wall-view room. I can see only the wall of another building."
"It's quirky, fun, laid back. Family of 5 fit nicely into a tight 3-bed room, and it worked very well. Great value, but the ambiance was so fun! They kept our bags for us after checkout for the day, were very helpful and prompt with every request. They do offer a deal for parking with a lot that's just a couple blocks away, too. Not a big room - truly tight - but exactly what is needed, and shockingly quiet for the city. Looking forward to next stay!"
"I stayed at Arlo Soho in NYC Aug. 6-8. Their Hotels.com profile included free Wi-Fi and gym in the amenities. However, I was charged an additional “resort fee” of $34/day for Wi-Fi, gym, “bike access,” and two cans of water. Ripoff!"
