Miscommunication regarding price and check in process. I was given a number to call to add a guest and the phone number didn’t work. The check in staff wasn’t helpful and I was given different quotes and no one could give me a straight answer. It took 2 days to fix a broken A/C in 2 of the rooms. Keep in mind it’s Cabo and it’s 90 degrees. I kept on getting the runaround with times it would be fixed. Our resort app wasn’t working or linking to our reservation. Without the app we couldn’t order a shuttle or room service which is of great value. I sent an email to the app support email and it took them 3 days to respond , by then our trip was over. Wait time for room service was 2 hours long and smaller portions. Our front door stop working . The quality of service has declined significantly since the last few years. I have been visiting this resort for 12 years now and this will be my last.

I have experienced staying at an all inclusive hotel on the beach, but that gets tiring. I prefer the secluded, luxurious & secure villa. It felt like my own personal paradise.

The villa was amazing and very spacious. There’s a shuttle to take you down to the main lobby when staying at the top of the mountain . The shuttle service can take you many places for free . There’s golf cart services as well that will take you around the resort.

App is not as user friendly and information is not up to date but the staff of the hotel is very helpful and willing to help. The shuttle is great and reliable and usually gets there sooner , which is good but if you want more flexibility -- I recommend a car rental.

This was our second time staying in the villas at Montecristo. The resort is beautiful and has much to offer. Dining options are great and shuttle transportation is prompt and drivers are courteous. The villas are spacious and the private pool and hot tub are top on our priority since pools in the resort are crowded. The villa was clean, but the floors needed to be mopped. The villas could also use some updating and TLC. Overall, great place and I would return.

Montecristo is a great place within the quivira territory. Nice houses with lots of space. However we needed several things fixed during our stay. AC didn’t work properly, grill had to be checked up 3 times, electric stove didn’t work, microwave was broken. This isn’t the standard you would expect for a high daily rate

The rooms were clean . We loved having our own pool and spa. The views from the back deck are fabulous. The distance to the restaurants is a bit daunting. The room service worked ok but you have to work ahead since it took 35-40 minutes. The internet never worked while we were there.

We have stayed in the exact villa 2 times in the past 3 months. The pullout is broken, dresser drawers need fixing, and the dryer vent needs to be connected. We requested this stuff a few months ago and it was still the same.
