"Fabulous refurb, stayed here about 12 years ago the transformation is absolutely lovely! Stayed in a standard room, which is on the small size but beautifully decorated with everything you need. Particularly liked the L'Occitane toiletries in the stylish bathrooms. The restaurant and casual areas are very stylish, the food, atmosphere and staff were great, and Aberlady is just an adorable quiet location on the doorstep of 22 golf courses, beaches and fabulous walks. "No problem with getting a parking space, very friendly and helpful reception welcome, room was gorgeous, tastefully done and full of little personal touches. Nice and clean. A big and very comfortable bed. We have stayed at a number of UK hotels (10+) this year and this is one of the few we are planning to return to."

"Lovely room with a large comfy bed, bathrobes as well which is always nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was we had a connecting room which meant we could hear the people next door. Lovely continental breakfast. Hotel is close to restaurants, bars and Ocean Terminal shopping centre."

"Le gustó que nos tocó estaba limpio, tenía hasta eléctrica para calentar agua, sobres de café, té, leche y azúcar, las cuatro camas estaban cómodas y la limpieza en general estaba bien. Tiene una televisión, calefacción, plancha y ventilador pequeño. En general la estancia estuvo bien para el precio que pagamos. Lo malo es que estaba en el segundo piso y no hay escaleras, pero no es algo que sea relevante a menos que viajes con personas de edad avanzada o con algún impedimento para caminar."

"What an amazing 5* experience! The Fingal was everything I wanted it to be. A surprise overnight stay for my other half for his 70th birthday and it did not dissapoint.
