"We checked in late & were made to feel inconvenient, the kitchen closed long before we arrived which wasn’t the best welcome after long travel. We also left a laptop charger & staff were not very solution orientated and didn’t help us find a way to retrieve the forgotten item."

"エディンバラを朝から晩まで楽しみたい方にはおすすめしませんが、観光客で溢れたエディンバラを脱出して郊外で特別な宿泊体験をしたい方にはおすすめです。お城の塔の寝室、大広間、屋根上が貸切です。お姫様というよりは砦の城主の気分を味わえます。車で行く方が多いようですが、私たちは最寄りのWallyford駅（エディンバラから2駅）から歩きました。遊歩道を30-40分ほど歩くと着きます。夕食は済ませるか、調達してから行く必要があります。朝食は部屋に準備してあり、好きなものを選んで食べられます。オーナーご夫妻が気さくでとても良い方々でした。おすすめです。"

"We had a lovely stay at The Linton Hotel. The staff was great and super helpful and their full breakfast was so good! It is an early breakfast during the week, but it actually helped us organise better as we probably would overslept :P Rooms are clean and quiet. All I could hear was bird songs in the morning. We did book 2 different rooms during our stay as we went away for 2 days and back to East Linton. Some rooms can be small but I do think for the price and location, it was perfect for us....

"The room Number 12 was fairly big for family and group booking. provided facilities were very useful. Loved the check in system, was very privat and secure. One single mattress was not in good condition. Guest room doors was very old, need to maintained."

"Parking was easy and convenient but overall the hotel is just okay. The carpet in the hallways is worn and torn giving it a rundown look. The pool is nice and there is a steam room and a sauna. The room is okay, clean. Same, a little run down. It is reasonably priced and there is a convenient bus stop. "

"My adult daughter and I flew in from Los Angeles and were so happy the bar was still open when we arrived at 9pm. The castle is charming, beautiful and homey feeling. Not stodgy or hoity toity. The beds are SO comfortable! We slept like a rock! Took the bus into Edinburgh the next day. Pick up us right outside the long driveway. You can leave your car at the end of the driveway. We would definitely stay again! "

"We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent and service was attentive. This is a small village hotel not a chain. Service reflected that, nice and attentive...

"The staff was exceptional. We arrived early before our room was ready and the staff took care of our luggage and directed us to a delightful afternoon tea while we waited. We blew an electrical breaker trying to use an American hairdryer and they promptly got the electricity fixed. They were very flexible with dinner reservations, working around our daytime activities."
