"I stayed there during a cross-country automobile trip. It was a convenient stop. It is not high season, so the restaurant and coffee shop were not open. The breakfast they served was nice. At first, they couldn't find my reservation. I showed them my Hotels.com itinerary and they handed me my key. The cottages are cute but A/C was weak. During the rainstorm in the afternoon, water leaked into the bathroom from the outside and we lost power for a minute. Overall, this seems like a theme park complete with dinosaurs and cowboys that has seen better days. It was an OK stay but I would not seek it out to stay. The bed was hard and pillows too large to comfortably sleep."

"This is an older property. There are maintenance issues needing addressing; water leaking from shower, frayed Towels, ripped Sheets. All are easily addressed. The Staff are friendly & efficient. The Rate is very reasonable. I’m happy to stay again."

"Equipment and furniture in the room were old. Front desk weren’t welcome because they were kind of ignore guests by taking to each other. However, the location was good and security guy was nice and welcoming."

"What an absolutely amazing experience! Baanthep is, by far, the best experience we have ever had in a Homestay property. If we could have stayed there for a year, we would have!! The entire family is welcoming and so focused on making the stay not just enjoyable, but memorable. The grounds are unique, the history is phenomenal and the passion for what they have built makes the experience. Just wandering around on the property with the family is tremendous! The best meals we had in Phrae came from the Homestay. I wish we had more time to sample more of the amazing food. This is, by far, the greatest Homestay out there!
