"This place is amazing. I had parking right in front. Easy self-check in. It was like a studio apartment *without the kitchen. Couch, coffee table, tv, coffee bar, comfy bed. The bathroom was clean but a bit small. Tight with the door and sink and toilet. Had a crouch in the shower to rinse (I'm just 5'10"). Minor details!
Would 💯 book this place again. In a heartbeat! Groceries, restaurants, Marsh Museum, drive-thru coffee just 5-10 minutes up the road."

Situated between a gas station/store and a Mexican restaurant you have access to fresh food and all the amenities you might have forgotten to pack. Like much of the Long Beach peninsula, the Mermaid is quiet and laid back...but still in walking distance to "downtown" and...
