"Great experience on the Queen Mary! The ship is surprisingly well-kept for its age. We did the 2-hour paranormal tour, which was super spooky and informative. Huge shoutout to our guide, Gus, who did an amazing job!"

Hilton Long Beach Hotel

Hilton Long Beach Hotel

8/10 Good
"Last minute 2night stay. I liked that it was pretty clean although the maintenance could use some attention. (Dinged corners and cabinets). The room was good and comfortable. Your valets, the 2 older gentlemen out front were amazing, true professionals offering assistance and direction before we even knew what we needed. I liked that they had shuttles available to take you to and from near by attractions and Restaurants. The Enclave bar/Restaurant in the lobby was convenient but the food was meh and the fries were so salty you couldn’t eat them. It seemed a lot of guests were staying before leaving port on a cruise. Most were fine a few either were a bit too loud. The decor was standard modern Hilton which would have been fine and tasteful on its own but the center piece sculptured fountain had been covered with hundreds of plastic duckies and the water was cloudy with people putting their hands in the water and taking ducks out. Also each floor elevator bay was “decorated” with stuff you would find at Hobby Lobby or a Party Store. Same with the ice machine room it looked like shrine but with a Disney theme and music, weird. As far as I know this hotel isn’t just catering to children. The end result was distracting at best and very tacky at worst. I’m not against some fun but this bordering on creepy. It didn’t seem on brand for Hilton at all. I had occasion to walk into the Westin some blocks away, their lobby presented a more elevated atmosphere. Just my 2 cents on that."
