"In a strange location and possibly undergoing some refurbishment - reception seemed rather chaotic with self checkin plus reception desks. Unclear what the location would be good for, though it is opposite a tram stop. There are not really any nearby restaurants etc although there is a large supermarket and fridges in room to store snacks and drinks. The hotel itself doesn’t serve food during the day. Breakfast was terrible - moderate choice but very poor quality. The room itself was large and comfortable, with big windows and lots of natural light, and seemed clean although there was a bit of an odd smell on entry. My colleague had a top floor room which was apparently near windowless though - so ask for a room on a lower floor if daylight is important."

"There were signs of bed bugs in the room. I found bed bug feces under the sheets of the bed as well as blood on the wall. After discovering this I immediately packed up and checked out almost immediately after checking in. I had to book 2 new hotels and the property and Expedia weren't helpful for a refund so I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS"

"Amazing helpful staff , remembering you and asking how the tour they had booked for us had gone. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were roomy and clean. Bar staff were extraordinary. Breakfast was ok and a wide range of choice. But a wider hot food range and/or pancakes/waffles would have AAA"

"Modern hotel 4 mins walk from Sloterdijk station so easy to get about. I feel safe as a solo traveller. Hotel is a large conference/convention hotel .. but also fine for travellers. Breakfast was nice. Prices were good for Amsterdam! Everything works. No complaints. The train line is direct to the airport."

"I liked that everything was card only charges. I hated the bedroom head board or non existence of. Where was I supposed to put my pillow to rest my head for reading or using a tablet. Silly gap with a lovely picture did not work for us. Bed a bit hard but all in all okay."
