"This hotel was a perfect location right on a beautiful beach. We first had a room on the “nautical themed” side. This side is a lot older and run down feeling than the other more renovated side. We changed rooms at midnight due to three bus loads of kids (not school buses but giant tour buses) being on the floor right above us. These kids were INSANELY loud and unsupervised. Low score is because the room could do with refurbishing, was cramped and most importantly, the bed was very uncomfortable as the mattress sagged in the middle. My wife woke up with a sore back. The guy who works the front desk is super personable and will help with hiking routes, restaurants, whatever you need, and he is also a wonderful host - very friendly, very charismatic.
