The selection of alcoholic drinks were great. Staff were very friendly and attentive especially the young barman/waiter. Everyone were full of smiles and welcoming. It really is a beautiful place with lots of history"

"Overall ok stay here, the hotel itself is nice and the grounds are lovely with the water. The room I stayed in could do with a refresh, particularly in the bathroom, cracked sink for example. Frustratingly the WiFi was shocking, barely managed to get an email sent. Breakfast was nice though and staff all lovely."

"All in all a lovely hotel with clean room, although no phone to reach out to reception. Staff very helpful and informative. Spa good but having to pay £10 as a resident was a bit of a liberty. Biggest disappointments were the main restaurant being closed off and instead we had to use the inferior small bar area to which all tables had been reserved and the main menu which didn’t have much of a choice with a high price ! Overall though I would stay again but maybe eat out within the town of Llangollen"
