"Double room with nice views of the sea and Little Orme. We’ve stayed here a few times, and recommend booking a sea or Orme view at the front. Bathroom was small, and with a shower over the bath. Would prefer walk in shower as my 81 year old hubby has recently had an artificial knee. Nice selection of shampoos, conditioners etc. Breakfast and dinner were very nice, with the usual menu of a J W Lees pub/hotel. Plenty of parking…just make sure you fill in your registration details at...

"Lovely site in the Welsh hills with lakeside or woodland lodges that were clean, comfortable and have everything you need for a short self catering break. The check in process was very easy and they offered a pre-check in online too. Pre-warning: They did try to contact my mobile to warn about a £60 refundable damage deposit, but the mobile number was partially Xx'd out by Hotels.com Friendly staff who were helpful and accommodating. "Uitgebreid ontbijt, vriendelijke en gastvrije eigenaren, schoon en netjes, gratis parkeren op eigen terrein, mooi gelegen in de Dee vallei. Het is een mooi en oud Victoriaans Herenhuis met veel sfeer. Onze kamer was op de bovenste verdieping met veel schuine kanten (minder geschikt voor lange mensen). Uitstekende wifi!"

"Room smelled pungently of mildew. When I told the staff they said they’d have to do a better job of cleaning. We left several days ago and everything in my suitcase, including all my clothes, still have that mildew smell. Quiet setting. Large rooms but had no way to air out except for a tiny window 18x8 that partially opened. Luckily it was cool weather. Pub was cute and food including breakfast was good."

"The location was rural and quiet and we had a generous sized room. The host was welcoming and very helpful, offering an excellent breakfast. We would certainly recommend it. The only downside for us was that the bed was very firm and we did not sleep well, but that may not be a problem for others."

"What a gem! Cannot fault this b&b at all. We stayed in Room 5. We had such a comfortable stay - one of the best nights sleep in such a comfortable bed and room Great quiet location, handy to have parking too. Check in quick and easy. Great touches like fresh milk being available and pre-choosing options for a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Shower was lovely and powerful. Such a great stay, an example of how b&bs should be. Absolutely would stay again and will recommend."

"As I was using a crutch, getting in with luggage was difficult. Providing a ramp on half of the front steps would be a help. However, the lift inside was good and the bedroom accessible in spite of a step to the bathroom. The hotel manager was always around and extremely helpful. Does he ever go off duty!! My room card did not work on the front entrance when I came back after midnight. Luckily another person arrived and used their card. And my card still worked on my bedroom door - didn’t...

"Stayed here for a couple of nights in April 2026. Lovely large room in the Tower! Had both breakfast and dinner here each day. Food was excellent. Service slow the first evening fo dinner but fine the second evening. Historic hotel with amazing wood carvings. "
