"Basic accommodation but certainly clean, comfortable and an excellent night’s sleep. Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. Breakfasts are really good. "Our time in Bala was brilliant and the White Lion Royal Hotel was wonderful. Chris greeted us and immediately helped us with a flat tire situation. Jenene served us two delicious meals from their cafe. This 600 year old historic hotel is cared for well. Our bathroom was updated and the bed was very comfortable. Five stars all around! "
