"We have stopped in many hotels and over the past 10 years and this is up there as an absolute delight. The staff are warm and friendly - all on duty over our stay need to be commended for their commitment to ensure guests feel looked after! The room was well equipped and we had a lovely view of the gardens. The breakfast was outstanding. A great base for travelling around Shropshire- such good value for money. Well done all "

They have information available for walks in the local area. It is in the middle of nowhere, so use the restaurant if here for a night. "

"Brilliant Pub, Amazing staff and Stunning Surroundings. We only stayed for 2 nights but would of loved to stay longer. Staff were attentive and welcoming. We were very impressed by our room which was extremely spacious with a large shower room and even a sauna in the room. Our Bed was so comfy and the pub was full of friendly locals. "The room wa clean and comfortable. The staff are brilliant. There were a couple of 'issues' when we arrived. TWe couldn't get the bedside lights to work and the radiator was very noisy and not heating. We mentioned this to the staff and both issues were sorted straight away (the fuse switch on the wall had been turned off, hence the lights not working and th radiator had an airlock and needed to be bled).There is some noise from the bar below but this ends when the bar closes at 10.30 and then...
