Great hotel. Very exclusive and quiet. Diogo was excellent at managing all we needed at the hotel. The only curious part we thought it was missing was a landline telephone to connect not only with the hotel (Diogo) but with any emergency service outside the hotel.

Fantastic location, updated, gorgeous bathroom. Staff were lovely but limited access. Try to get questions in before 4pm when they leave. However, when they were available, they were exceptionally friendly and accomodating.

An Unforgettable Stay from Start to Finish!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The service was impeccable, and the breakfast was truly delicious. We highly recommend sitting at the kitchen counter to watch the chefs prepare the food—it was a joy to see their passion and artistry in every dish. On top of that, the room was stunningly beautiful and exceeded all our expectations. We can’t wait to return!

I absolutely loved this stay.

Montecarmo is a beautiful place that blends quiet apartment living with hotel amenities. The staff was delightful and accessible. The location was convenient to so many wonderful food and shopping spaces. The balcony was large, it fit a table and a few chairs and overlooked the Santario de Christo Rey

We had a short but delightful stay. The room was bright, modern, and had every amenity we could want. The staff was helpful with recommendations about anything we asked about. The breakfasts were freshly prepared per our order and excellent. Breakfast service can be a bit slow at times, but who cares, we’re on vacation!

It was an amazing stay, the staff was fantastic! Thanks to Joana, Adriano, Ariana and everyone else. The rooms are very confortable and spacious, the breakfast is made to order and the chef is the best! I am pregnant and she cooked my eggs exactly how I requested. They were always ready to help and i had a lot of questions, since it was our first time in Portugal. Location is great! I had the best icecream near by ( Nannarella). The hotel is super clean and there is always someone there to help you with whatever you need. Dont even bother looking for another place, this is the hotel that will make your experience the BEST!

Perfect first stay in Lisbon

We had a wonderful stay at Montecarmo 12. This was our first trip to Lisbon and we were made to feel so welcome from the first moment we arrived. Our room was spotless, bright and fresh - the perfect place to put your feet up after climbing all of Lisbon's hills! The option to have breakfast prepared every morning was a real treat and the food was fresh and tasty. Location-wise, Montecarmo 12 is in a great neighbourhood with lots of restaurants, bars and parks to stop outside to have a drink in. At the same time, you can easily walk into the heart of the city and it's close to good public transport links. We can't wait to come back to Lisbon and to this hotel. Thank you so much Joana and the rest of your lovely team!

Very disappointing visit, usually great.

We have stayed at Montecarmo 12 many times and recommend it to many people. It has always been wonderful however we stayed last night and it was not great. It is a very small hotel. About 10 rooms. Last night I think we may have been the only guests as we went to breakfast and the kitchen and dining room were closed Wagner, the chef came to our rescue and put together a small breakfast for us. He was lovely but did not know there were any guests. We had a small, quick breakfast, not the lovely, relaxed breakfast we always enjoy at Montecarmo. Without Wagner help, we would have left very unimpressed huge praise to Wagner. We got a call from management while eating breakfast that they would not be serving breakfast today and they would refund our breakfast cost. Very unprofessional.
