Hostel I'd recommend
Lovely modern hostel, quite far out the way but not a problem if you don't mind a walk. Bed was a little hard but overall the room was comfy and clean.

Over priced basic accommodation
Cannot complain too much as we booked last minute for RWC and so only thing available at short notice. We are a family of five so book a 6 person dorm room. It was basic accommodation, which was ok, but the room had some issues with lights not working. The one in the toilet didn’t work at all and the one in bathroom did not turning off. Other things of note; no towels, no tea or coffee making facilities. Which considering the price is not really on. Overall very pricey for the one night considering the facilities (£378ish with a 10% discount), but it was all very last minute so not much other choice with demand being high because of RWC matches. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English.

The hotel offers a basic service-bedrooms are very small, sparse and basic but that is what you are paying for. We stayed 2 nights and the rooms were for sleeping in. The reception staff were friendly and helpful whilst the bar and lounge area is comfortable. The location is out of the city centre but we enjoyed walking in to Lille which took about 45 mins but bus, taxi and metro options are all available. It isn’t the type of hotel I would normally stay at but if you want basic clean accommodation on the outskirts of the city with easy access then I would recommend Eklo Lille.

false promise of electric car charging.
This hotel is misadvertising the charging point. Whilst chargers do exist in their car park, the hotel has no idea how to operate them as they belong to another company. It looks like the one must have an RFID card of a specific French provider to use these chargers. The only reason to book with this institution was because they advertise charging points- which the guests cannot use. Very clever.

Hotel is basic however what we expected . No English spoken which may be a problem for some guests . Restaurant not serving food this week , not ideal after a 7hr journey . Clean room , USB ports not working so unable to charge phones . 10 min walk to Metro station so easy to get into the city . A no frills stay which definitely won't exceed any expectations.

Met by a guy at reception, he was great and friendly. Other staff very sour faced. Got cheated on amount of wine when purchasing 2 drinks. The room was clean however the showers tray was blocked and I used the shower head on jet to squirt more pressure down the drain as the cover was loose. Excrement coming back out untill cleared then the tray emptied as normal. Breakfast you have to make your own and your expected to clear down, wash the dishes and restore for next guests ! This is supposed to be a hotel not a hostel/campsite facilities. Very disappointed with this hotel.

Good location, about 15min walk to tram station. Free parking and dog friendly. We booked a family room for 2 adults and small dog. The images show a room with sofa but we were given a room with beds!! Would have been nicer if we had sofa to sit and chill after a long drive. The shower was blocked and staff were really helpful and gave us access to room next door to use shower. I requested to swap rooms but understand all family rooms had been booked out. Young chap at check in was extremely helpful ( i didnt catch his name) Overall good, Id book again.

Disappointing service.
A clean adequate hotel but the man at reception was unhelpful sending me to 2 different places in search of food, both of which were closed. The hotel restaurant was closed for the weekend on Friday afternoon. The toilet paper dispenser emptied in the middle of the night. I had to go in search of toilet paper first thing in the morning as there was no extra in the room.

Comfortable bed in clean room. Bathroom was nice and clean. Was only a floor towel in the room, just had to ask downstairs for a towel and problem was instantly solved. It’s fairly basic but does the job well. Would stay again

Room absolutely terrible. It was only 20 degree but it was boiling inside and you can smell the toilet. Room was so small you can hardly move around the bed. Saturday night was very loud. Reception didn't care. Cannot sleep. You can hear all traffic. If you really don't need to.. avoid this hotel.

Quand on arrive a la réception on se dis "WAHOU GÉNIAL" Un espace commun juste TOP, et un accueil parmi les meilleurs, et le tout avec un prix franchement bon pour un hôtel de grande ville. Mais une fois arrivée dans la chambre c’est la déception. 1 - Les WC n’avez presque aucun flux d’eau et seul le bouton pour les petits passage fonctionnais 😅 ! 2 - La chambre était très très très mal insonorisé, nous en avons à peine dormis, malgré porte et fenêtre pourtant bien fermer, on entendais tout ce qui se passais dehors ainsi que les activités nocturne de couple présent dans une des chambres proches. 3 - l’agent d’entretien qui regardais à notre fenêtre le matin, heureusement que nous étions déjà habillé. Pour ne pas finir sur du négatif, nous avons tout de même passer une bonne soirée avec des clients et le réceptionniste dans l’espace commun et c’était réellement très appréciable.
