"For me, this has always been an outstanding motel, which was surprising due to its outside appearance. I wish all their rooms were one bed only, however, because the 2 beds make the rooms crowded. This visit was disappointing, as I found out people are being allowed long-term stays, which has resulted in broken down cars in the parking lots, people outside on the porch hanging out all day, and children in the area, facts which were once not the case and part of its excellence. The employees are good people and hard workers. I hope that the place can return to a short term motel for adults only, as it carries a nice staycation hidden gem appeal when it does."

"Most of the staff was excellent. We asked front desk staff (no concierge) about several things going on (in the downtown area). They had no clue. The hotel is downtown, these were events that occur ever year - such as the Porch Fest and the Wine Festival at the Farmer's Market. No one had a clue - we asked about the shuttle dropping us off there and they looked at each other and would not answer our questions. ??? "

"Nice room, larger than most. Staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a shuttle that tuns from the Bee Hotel, to The Holbrook and then to the casino, very nice amenity. Room was clean, appliances seem to be almost new. Decorated very nicely. Would highly recommend. If I have a need to visit Danville again (which has a lot more to see than I expected) I'd stay here again."
