Great little place especially for families with kids that want to have the separation if seperate bedrooms but interconnected. Walkable easily to Mushroom Beach and lots of local eateries. Staff were lovely, food was ok, rooms were lovely and regularly cleaned.

Our family (with two toddlers) was able to completely relax at Bale Gede. Staff were especially welcoming, helpful, and kind (particularly Komang and Wayan)- not to mention patient with our kids. The rooms are comfortable and the pool is one of the nicest we saw at any hotel, and had a good shallow section for the kids. The food at Bale Gede is among the best on Lembongan and we loved our breakfast omelettes and the freshest juices, but also had excellent dinners here. It’s an easy five minute walk down to the restaurants and cafes near Mushroom Beach. We would definitely stay here again, and will be recommending it to everyone we know. A good place to relax.

Das Hotel ist recht neu, die Zimmer geschmackvoll eingerichtet und eine kleine Veranda vor den Zimmern lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam.

Ceremonial chanting very loud

The villa itself was nice, 10 min walk to the beach. There was a wedding going on when we were there with very loud wailing/chanting till midnight that started again at 8am. We asked the hotel about it and they made no offer for compensation - a free fruit juice or anything to say sorry. We literally couldn’t hear ourselves think. Not a great place for a relaxing break.

Bra läge i Lembongan

När vi först anlände till hotellet var vi lite bekymrade då det initialt verkade som att vi hamnat ute i ingenstans. Vi hade aldrig varit på Lembongan tidigare. Vi kunde snabbt konstatera att läget var riktigt bra med närhet till både mushroom bay, dream beach och devils tear samt en del bra restauranger. Rummen är i bra skick i och med att hotellet är nytt. Vi har dock lärt oss under vår vistelse i Bali att man bör sova med öronproppar då boenden av detta slag inte är ljudisolerade. Här är det trafiken som kan störa. En stor fantastisk pool som man kan simma i. Gott om solstolar och under vår vistelse aldrig fullt vid poolen. Restaurangen hade bra mat för de dagar man inte orkade gå ut och äta på restaurangerna i omgivningen. Bra och hjälpsam personal. Finns ett spa på hotellet som vi testade vid några tillfällen. Fantastiskt duktiga och jag kan rekommendera deras aromaterapi massage.

Great value, nice rooms

Nice rooms, clean & well decorated. The staff were really helpful & nice. A short walk to mushroom bay so location was generally fine. This is a great value hotel, if you’re looking for somewhere clean & simple to stay.

Ligging is mooi en prima Persoon die ons incheckte gaf niets van info, enkel de sleutel van de kamer en vroeg of er al betaald is met de visa. Kamer was oud en vuil, muskietennet hing vol stof. Muren was aan het afbladderen. Badkamer was vuil, vol kalk aan kranen. Toilet spoelde niet door. Keuken van de hotel is smerig. Ik raad iedereen aan om een kijkje te nemen vooraleer je eten besteld. Ligging was goed. Was blij dat het maar voor 1 nacht was

Don't Go. Bad Value for Money

Cheap hotel! Breakfast is tiny, staff is trying to behave nice but can't make it through 2 nights. Room is suffering so much noise from the road , not cool! Woke up everyday at 5am. Not suitable for vacation.

Great hotel and the best staff

Bale Gede Lembongan is a wonderful hotel to stay. The hotel just opened in June so the rooms are all new and modern. Good beds, nice bathrooms, fantastic restaurant so everything is present for the spoiled traveler. What however makes the difference in this hotel is the staff: they are the best and most friendly we have come across during our travel in Indonesia. They really go out of their way to service you and fully enjoy Nusa Lembongan. Our stay on this lovely island was magical and especially want to thank Wayan and Komma for their help, service and .... smiles!
