Idéalement situé à Ivy Lea pour le départ des excursions en bateau des 1000 îles. Parking gratuit juste devant la chambre. Cependant, l’hôtel est vieillissant et le ménage quotidien ne suffit plus. Les coussins des chaises étaient très sales nous n’avons même pas osé nous assoir, le sèche cheveux était cassé et n’a pas fonctionné. Pas de rideaux occultant. On entend tout ce qu’il se passe dans les chambres d’à côté. Cela ne correspondait pas à mes attentes.

Water pressure in the shower was weird - shower was a trickle and the faucet was blasting even with the knob completely up for the shower. Mattress was VERY firm. Convenient location close to the dock. Room/bathroom were very clean.

It's a typical motel. The pictures are not very accurate. The property is not on the water, and has no access to the river. It was very clean, minus a bit of mould in the shower. Bedding was fine, and the bed was comfortable. Shower was broken when we arrived, but the guy fixed it to the best of his ability. He offered us a different room but the smell of mothballs was so strong that we decided to kept our original. Neighbours were loud, but responded to my request to be quiet. My only real complaint was the porch light pouring into the room due to the old and paper-thin yellowish blinds and lack of curtains. Unfortunately, I was inches from the window and barely slept. We paid $170 CAD, with taxes and fees. I don't suggest paying over $125.

I had an excellent stay at the Capricorn Motel recently. The room was newly updated with modern finishes, a smart TV, and a fully renovated bathroom. The property has a couple of BBQs available and a great shared kitchen area for all guest to use. Located right across the road from one of the 1000 Island cruises, which was also fantastic. The host was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and clearly takes pride in the place. I would definitely stay here again.

the pictures on the expedia don’t accurately display where the property is. it is not located on the water and you can’t see it from property. motel is old and dated. comforter appeared dirty with stains and i would bring your own pillow they were quite flat. the shower was either freezing or boiling hot, getting it to an in between was near impossible. ac in the room was great. parking was pretty poor, witnessed few people almost back into or hit others vehicle's. overpriced for what you get. the artwork in the room was nice. wifi works great as there is limited cell service in this area.
