"I booked this for my family and I as a one night stop on our way south from the UK. I was slightly nervous as had never stayed at a B&B Hotel prior to our stop in Epernay. I have to say that I was delighted, the room & hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff hugely helpful. "We had an amazing stay at Château d’Étoges. The castle is beautiful, full of history, and surrounded by peaceful gardens. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with a great selection. "We stayed here for two nights on our way to Provence. We chose this hotel specifically because of its location just off Avenue de Champagne, thus enabling us to walk to the champagne tasting we had booked. It has no restaurant on site but is only about a 15 minutes walk from the centre of town & a number of restaurants/bars and a 7 minute drive from one of the Champagne Museums.
