"We expected the room and bathroom to be small, which they were, so no surprises there. The room was very warm once we closed the windows, though, and there was no air conditioning so we had trouble sleeping. We could've left the windows open, but given that the hotel is right at the entrance of the Mont, it's quite loud outside. Breakfast was chaotic and there was a very loud fire alarm going on for a very long time in the breakfast room, which the staff did nothing to stop. It's an average place to stay for one night, but I wouldn't go back."

"The overall price was very good value as it included a good restaurant dinner and breakfast and a small good room. Being on Mont St Michel meant a pleasant evening walk around and a visit to the Abbey before the massed hoardes Some pointers - we didn't receive the access code to get to the check in hotel. You need this to check in to another hotel first. You then take your luggage and go on the bus to the island which is okay. The instructions to the 'annexe' are terrible. We walked past it in the rain twice. Even the local shops didn't know where it was. It's down a little alley and the details are on a sign underneath some other information. I mentioned this to the receptionist on my return which was clearly a bit pointless."

"Perfect location at the island entrance. Close to the ramparts entrances including a 2nd floor exit at the back of the hotel directly onto the ramparts. Staff were very helpful and accommodating especially in handling our luggage before checkin and holding it after checkout until we departed. A quiet hotel and nice ambiance!"

Could have done with shower curtain on bath, and bedside lights, and the curtains didn't quite shut properly, but it was very clean, lovely big comfy bed, free coffee and water, replenished daily and really good bathroom size and hot water whenever wanted."
