"We love the Rochestown Hotel in Dun Loagherie. This is our second year in a row of using it as a home base near my aunt and uncle. We also love being within walking distance of Forty Foot beach access and the ability to swim with other open water swimmers.
This is the cleanest hotel we have stayed in for along time. We were on a 20 day vacation and stayed in over 10 places and this is by far the best place we have been this year. The bed was comfy, the room very clean and spacious,...

"Many positives. Old hotel steeped in history combined with modern facilities. Appreciated underground car park no additional charge. Swimming pool steam room and sauna facilities all very good. Bed extremely comfortable! Breakfast was excellent and lot to choose from menu in Harry’s bar. We had an upgraded room but our view was a bit disappointing from our past experience. We got engaged here 24 years ago and there are far better views from rooms at front of hotel. Good attempt to offer music in...

"A brilliant stay, clean room, I had knock off 1 star because the tv in the room wasn’t working, which we discovered after unpacking🙄.
We called the staff and they attended to the problem promptly. We had to change our room and they compensated us with a free breakfast next morning. The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were the highlight. Clean facilities. Check in/check out was simple. The only drawback is the location of the hotel. A good 20 minute walk to Temple bar etc. not many places...
