"Fabulous experience in a beautiful mountain setting. We had no idea when we booked it that the drive to it would be on winding roads up the mountain but turned out to be okay. It certainly was worth the trip to stay in this hidden gem. Loved the donkeys and chickens and the lovely dog Bella. Hosts were lovely. The food was wonderful. Had great hikes thanks to their direction. "

"This is a beautiful hotel nestled in the side of the mountain. Appears newly updated the staff was so accommodating and helpful.. only issue was it is about 35 min walk from train station. "Unfortunately the stay at La Vigna did not meet our expectation. The kitchen was equipped poorly. There were a lot of ants and other insects in the apartment. The apartment was already very worn down. The pool was out of service without notice beforehand. The bedsheets were stained. It was extremely loud! It was hard to sleep until the residents above went to bed because one could hear every sound and scraping of chairs. Would not recommend especially for the high price"
