The STRAT’s upgrades are great so it made it a fun stay. Some downsides that made it not the best stay were the issues with the room. The first room smelled like sewage as soon as you opened the door. It was too potent and inhabitable. I realized that in certain areas throughout the hotel, the sewage smell was stronger than others. The second room did not have a smell however, the water in the shower & sink did not drain which made showering and using the sink a larger task than it needed to be, given than no one wants to stand in a pool of their shower water or have rings around the sink from the water not draining appropriately. If the room situation was better, it would’ve made the stay significantly better. Outside of that, the housekeeping staff was extremely nice, helpful & accommodating and the bar staff was so kind and provided recommendations about anything and everything that we could ask about Vegas.
