"The expectation was of a 4star apartment.The reality was a basic 2star! I realise it was a Cretan style building & have no problem with that but a few modern touches and some comfortable loungers etc would be nice.Crete is lovely and the people very friendly so we enjoyed our stay overall just not the hotel."

"This apartment was okay to sleep in, it was in a quiet area with quick access to outside amenities (beach, taverna, groceries). The view was stunning, however, we were unable to enjoy any time on our deck given the area directly underneath and beside our balcony was reserved for people who sat and chain smoked from morning to night every day. Of course we expect some smoking in Europe, however, this was constant and it made our stay much less enjoyable as we were unable to sit outside and enjoy...
