"A very clean hotel but lacks the personal touch , cant getva sunbed even though there are rules about reservations on them not much for kids to do , a very small kids club i would say this hotel is best suited to older people or people who dont have children "

"The food time schedule was not good for a young family, lunch was at 1pm and dinner was at 7pm which was far too late. You couldn’t get drinks in the morning until after breakfast had finished. However, the restaurant staff at the hotel were brilliant, always friendly and helpful. We had an ongoing issue for the duration of our stay where we had no hot water. We complained on a daily basis, sometimes even more than once and it was never resolved. We were travelling with a 15month old and having to shower her in cold water every day meant we had a very upset child, despite the complaints the hotel staff did not care. Kept telling us it would be fixed then as soon as it was it would break within the hour again. They did nothing to help us, could have moved rooms or something but instead we just got comments like “it’s good for you to shower in cold water” which may be acceptable for an adult but definitely not a young child. The hotel was just very basic, everything that looks good in photos was maintained excellently but everything else wasn’t. Wouldn’t recommend for a young family. The pools are not really kid friendly, the hotel is quite far out from everything and the food times are just too late for children."

"The property is a bit far from the center of ayia napa but is from a walkable distance for pubs and clubs, and has a grocery store nearby. The hotel apt we were assigned were not bad but the hygiene and cleaning services of the property should be improved, we had dust in the bathroom and marks of objects that haven’t been moved for a while, and most importantly we had ants in the bathroom and kitchen. I recommend you get your own supplies to have a clean space if you are staying for a while. But after seeing some other hotel apts i would say mars mare has the best atmosphere, quiet and peaceful , you’re surrounded by greenery and you also get a balcony with chairs outside.
