The courtesy of a shuttle from and returning to the port was much appreciated. Their breakfast with a view of the port deserves a special mention as does the particularly attentive breakfast staff. "The staff was exceptional. Always willing to help and provide whatever is needed. Once we realized the lay of the island, the receptionist helped us get a rental car. The dining was superb. "Balata Bianca is a clean, modern, and very comfortable hotel with five guestrooms. It's conveniently located within easy walking distance of the old port and restaurants by the harbor as well as a 10-minute walk to the pedestrian street Via Roma with all of its shops and restaurants. Some of the guestrooms have a small balcony with a view of the harbor. The shower has soothing mood lighting that changes colors.
