Yellowstone River Motel
8/10 Good
"This hotel was decent for the price, honestly anything under $300 at the gate into Yellowstone I consider a steal and I paid not even half that. The room could use an upgrade, at least where the door and locks are concerned, pretty sure someone could fall against it and it would just break open. But, I was a single traveler and it didn't make me feel worried or anything, just an observation I had. The bed was really comfortable, and exactly what I needed after getting caught in the crazy first snow storm of the season and having to drive Dunraven all the way up on nasty roads. Parking is to be desired, but that was the only not so great part. However, there was a front spot that made it easy to park my giant Suburban in the tiny lot. Staff was very friendly. The location made the next morning super easy to jet back into the park as soon as they re-opened the road from Mammoth."
Mammoth Hot Springs & Cabins - Inside the Park
8/10 Good
"We stayed in the cabins, which are nice. Only downfall is if you are in a cabin with a shared wall vs. standalone - the walls are thin. Also, as I’m sure it’s tough to keep cabins clean vs. standard hotel room - our blankets didn’t look to have been washed. Other than that, no problems"
Grizzly Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic customer service from Chanc!"
Antler Lodge - Gardiner MT
10/10 Excellent
"We had an excellent stay at the lodge. The lodge is beautiful and our room was amazing! It was our first time there and I want to make special mention about one of the staff. Her name is Tanya and she went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was the best experience possible. She mapped out the best restaurants for us and even helped us to be able to see the wildlife that Yellowstone is famous for including Grizzly Bears!!! It was our first time there and we will definitely come back and stay at the Antler Lodge. We highly recommend it!!! Brad and Theresa"
Pahaska Tepee Resort
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in a cabin in the back and loved it! Real log cabin with Cowboy decor was great. We enjoyed sitting outside on some chairs they had provided. The Restaurant had excellent breakfast and supper! They also have a bar next to the restaurant."
Lake Lodge Cabins - Inside the Park
8/10 Good
"Had a coffee maker that did not work. Second & third did not work. Finally 4th try, a coffee maker that works. Very limited restaurant."
Yellowstone Tipis
10/10 Excellent
"The teepees were awesome the only problem is the bathrooms were a little distance from the TP and during the cold weather it was not convenient for a night walk. Not really the fault of the teepee. Other than that it was a great start to a trip."
Mammoth Hot Springs
8/10 Good
"The room was clean and the staff was very professional and polite. We were there in July with temperatures in the 80’s, so no AC in the entire building made it pretty uncomfortable. It’s a pretty neat old hotel and I’m glad we stayed there."
