"This hotel is set up high near what is called The Mall which is a long retail street. You are not allowed to drive to the hotel as vehicle access is not allowed to the area so your bags have to be carried by porter. The hotel has spectacular views, the staff are friendly and helpfull. There is a good restaurant and importantly the location is great to walk to points of interest."

"It was very conveient to be able to walk to the hotel from the train station on arrival. The staff were exceptionally friendly and service oriented. I was pleased with the size and cleaniless of the room. Glad there was extra blankets as Shimla does get cold. "Access to the mall is the only plus. Furnishings in the rooms are outdated and dirty. I never sat in a sofa before that has no back cushions to support you. No convenient electrical outlets to plug electronics or bedside medical devices like CPAP. Breakfast is same old average tasting buffet. No parking. You may get locked out if you are a late night player. Turns absolutely dark at night even the walkways and stairwells to the rooms, so keep a flashlight on hand. I give 2-3 stars, only for the...
