"It was alright. It’s like you’re camping with a safe place to stay. You should bring your own firewood otherwise they will charge you. But there is a lot of sticks and wood laying around you can use if you pick it up yourself. The power went out so we didnt have lights at night, but it was an adventure. "There are full options of home facilities, fast to check in and friendly staff with a nice advices. The location quit far from Lake Louis but if you have a car there is no problem but good things are near Castle mountain and Jonhton Canyon, mid way from banff and Lake Louise. I really like here so much."

"This is a rustic upscale lodge. Great views of Emerald Lake. The hotel rooms are in four plexes. They are very dated but the wood burning stone fires places are great. The staff is attentive. The dining room dinner was not my favourite. Glad we stayed one night as it’s a special plane but needs some upgrades."
