"We had issues with fruit flies in our room which were quite annoying. Reported it. Manager was involved. We couldn't exchange rooms as our room had balcony and view of lake or take a a room facing parking lot. We did not want to change rooms. So they wanted to spray room which we were not comfortable with. They did clean our room again. We asked for a reduction in price but was told no. This room was quite expensive (over $350/ night ). I was treating my daughter and granddaughter to this weekend. We did get a guest bag with nuts and candy plus a note for a discount at a future date which I doubt we will use as we are 6 hours away. I think this hotel could have done better by us."

"ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT , OUR ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN, UPDATED WITH A KITCHEN AS WE STAYED FOR 3 DAYS SO THAT WORKED WELL FOR US, GREAT VIEW OF GOLF COURSE, HALLWAYS WERE QUIET, WE WANTED TO TAKE THE BED HOME WITH US CAUSE IT WAS SOO COMFORTABLE. WE WILL DEFINATLEY GO BACK"

"The Staff went above and beyond. Had dinner Saturday night at the Hunt Club. Which was excellent. I woke up Sunday morning and realized that I left my credit card at the restaurant. The Hunt Club does not open until 4:00pm. The hotel staff found someone who had access to the Hunt Club and went and got my card. After I had breakfast at the golf course restaurant on was on my way home at 10:00am."

"Over the labor day weekend we stayed here. The place was very clean and very friendly. Nothing fancy but we also didn't have to stay 3 day minimum. (Which many places there only excepted) We had nothing but friendly staff. We would definitely stay again"

"This was a last minute get out of Chicago trip to Lake Geneva. Lots of great history and character. Never seen more people stop to take pictures of a hotel. There are only 6 rooms here so it is quite unique. It is truly like stepping back into history. The speakeasy bar is a fun experience. Hotel is walking distance from everything downtown. The property manager Cortney was welcoming and very helpful and lives on-site so very responsive. This is not a modern antiseptically clean, charmless hotel. It has personality and character so don't be too judgmental."
