I've stayed here regularly and have to say, the breakfast really stands out. There are COOKS there to make you an omelet with a whole host of things for it, or eggs how you like them. There's bacon, sausage and an elevated self-serve section where you can make waffles, enjoy a large fresh-cut fruit selection with a variety of cold cereals to please adults and children. The pool & jacuzzi are very nice but the nicest aspect is the very friendly staff.

This is my 2nd stay this year. My room is comfortable. The beds are perfect and so are the pillows. The staff are very kind and friendly. The highlight is always the breakfast room. All varieties of American foods to choose from along with fruit, cereal and mini-waffles. They always have scrambled eggs and potatoes and a meat. You can also have eggs your way. A staff member is always ready to help. The pool, hot tub and patio areas are also wonderful. I will come back again!

We have been to this hotel many times, first when it opened about twenty years ago. The property, still managed by the Ayres family, is beautifully maintained and updated. Excellent location for access to Laguna Beach and its art scene or enjoying the outdoors such as Crystal Cove or other state parks for hiking or a day at the beach. Rooms are very spacious and people seem to enjoy the pool and hot tub and the complementary breakfast buffet with made to order egg dishes. Abundant free parking spaces.
