"I stayed here for a friend’s 50th birthday celebration and we had a really great time overall. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous and the setting is beautiful. The amenities were excellent and the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. The food was just okay, which is fairly typical for most all-inclusive resorts, but there were still plenty of options and we always found something to enjoy. One standout was the coffee shop — it was fantastic and became a favorite stop each day. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and beautiful property made it a wonderful trip and a great place to celebrate with friends"

"Food in here was delicious! Lots of healthy choices and the all inclusive was amazing for the price! Staff was lovely and welcoming. You can’t swim in the beach due to rocks, you have to get transportation and go somewhere else if that’s what you’re looking for. Our room was big and taken care of. I’d come to Hacienda encantada again!"

"Went to dinner at Ceilomar. A glass of a basic wine was $50 USD- a glass of wine not a bottle. Outrageous prices for alcohol and water. "

"We booked an ocean view room and unfortunately there was no ocean in sight. The manager said he would take care of it the next day and haven’t heard a single word from the property. Our room had an amazing bathtub,unfortunately it dispensed yellow brownish water. Called the front desk with the issue and am still waiting for an update. We checked daily on the colored water and every time it was horrible. The buffet was another experience with birds landing on the different food areas. The food was sub par adding to the not great experience at this property. The staff was mediocre and not too helpful when ordering from the pool bar ( Raphel ). The one bright employee was Cecilia at the hostess reception desk. She would always smile and be courteous. I honestly hate to discourage people’s opinion for an all inclusive,but this was not good. Do better please !!"

"Great staff, clean room, many food options. Expedia representatives were incredibly helpful. Unfortunately, we were nit able to has access to a freezer for our fresh catch! Great location. "

"We selected this resort because it was out of the main downtown area and thought it would be a more relaxing resort to stay at. While there though there were 3-5 wedding parties that took over many parts of the resort. The beach was beautiful here and when the pool was calm it was very nice. The room we had smelled extremely musty/mildew and at one point we had water dripping from the ceiling of the bathroom. We were told by the staff that we could change rooms but only to a less than room from what we had. The restaurants on site are mediocre, but note that steak restaurant is not part of the all inclusive package and costs extra, so does some of the nice food in the other restaurants. "
