The only negative does not relate to the hotel itself maybe more about the city of Kandy, its very nosey and busy, we were hounded by local traders and drivers all day which compared to other parts of the country we would not have the same experienceits "

The place is marvelous - a tranquil oasis - the weather wasn't great, but it must be even more magical when the sun is out. "We had quite an amazing experience at Marvel Hills. Location very good for local access, complete privacy in the room, and a host who was quite exceptional. Freshly prepared local cuisine for breakfast, great chats with the host, he even arranged for a local spice seller to come and see us, so now we have enough, high quality, spices to last for a good while. Excellent!"

"Great place to stay in Kandy! Rooms are clean, comfortable, and shower is great. Staff are true professionals and definitely want you to have a great stay. Hotel is perched atop hill just outside of town. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby and the town is a nice 20 stroll down the hill. Staff hooked us up with a great driver for day trip to Sigiriya. Great place to stay!"
