We had an absolutely wonderful stay at San Montano Resort & Spa. The views over Ischia and the Bay of Naples are breathtaking, the pools and spa facilities are world-class, and the atmosphere is both relaxing and elegant. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service. Every member of the staff was warm and professional, but I want to especially recognize Gennaro, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. His attention to detail, thoughtful recommendations, and genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome and well cared for. San Montano is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy incredible food, and soak in the beauty of Ischia. Highly recommended — we will definitely return!

Amazing property with super amazing views and baths, also very friendly staff, comfortable bed, everything is nicely clean. Improvements could be updating the showers and watersystems at the moment when everyone showers there is almost no hot water and some staff does not properly speak English. I recommend you to still go there, best hotel in Ischia on this side

Wow, what a place! Spectacular views, many great pools (hot and cold), thermal baths, sauna, spa (reasonably priced), helpful and gracious staff, ultra-clean, nice room if not terribly large. Would stay here again if I returned. Food in the main restaurant was good but not superb and selection was a bit limited with dishes not especially imaginative, yet even this quibble is not enough to reduce my 5-star rating. Especially since the breakfast (came with price of room) was super! Loved the piano bar and the player who took requests. A true winner.

Overall good - but hotels needs upgrading.

Amazing views, good facilities. Most of staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is dated, the decor, rooms and most communal areas probably haven’t been updated since the 70’s and 80’s. The room was very very small and dated. (Wardrobes made of chipboard, 40 year old mini fridge with icerberg in it, shower in bath)

Positive: Wonderful setting on top of a hill, very friendly and competent staff, excellent breakfast, good pools, Lacco Ameno only a short (down/up-hill)walk away and free shuttle available, all vehicles are eco-friendly (electric), very nice beach close by (incl. vouchers for bed/umbrella) Negative: Half-board and restaurant too expensive, bathroom could have been larger and shower was slightly dated
