The new Lac Magantic Microtel was the perfect accommodation for our weekend trip. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, polite and answered our questions. Breakfast was self serve and just enough to start the day off. The coffee was delicious! We would definitely recommend the Lac Megantic Microtel for a short or longer stay as the room allowed for cooking and dining if desired.

All in all we enjoyed our stay. We thoroughly appreciated the fact that they had gluten free bread available upon request and that we had lots of variety for breakfast (oatmeal, cereal, toasts, muffins, bagels, yogourt and even soy milk) The only thing they could improve is the coffee which is really basic. The walls are not so well insulated but overall we were happy with the location of the hotel… right downtown where all the restaurants are and close to the marina.
