From start to finish the stay was great. We arrived early on our bikes and they allowed us early access, and we could store the bikes safely. The room was spotlessly clean, super comfy, and whisper quiet. It’s a 10 minute walk to the old town.

A great hotel for motorists or cyclists

The room was very comfortable with a range of options for pillow on the bed and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast included a good range of food which was regularly replenished. This is an excellent hotel for anyone driving or cycling to enjoy La Rochelle. Having come in by train however and needing to walk into the town centre the walk was quite long and there were no public transport options.

The hotel has a lovely reception and lounge area that lead out to a well kept patio and lawn. The lounge also serves as the breakfast area. The staff were excellent - very welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was quite plain and not particularly big but the bed was a good size and very comfortable. There were facilities to make coffee but paper cups and no tea and no milk, which you had ask for at reception. The parking was limited - 2 small areas with one free to park and the other behind a locked gate, for which you paid €12 a night. Felt like a safe area and easy 20 minute walk into the centre of La Rochelle.

All good except parking . No security parking left when we were there and the few spaces outside this but in the grounds where not managed and cars were parked badly. 2 extra cars should have been able to have been parked! Surely there should be in total the number of the rooms?

Friendly staff. Room was quiet despite several building projects nearby at the time of our stay. Room was clean and facilities good. Safe parking. About a 20 min walk to the harbourside where there are lots of places to eat. We didn't stay for breakfast as had to leave early in the morning. Used the hotel as a overnight stop on the way to Caen from Bordeaux to break up the long drive.
