"The place is very basic and comfortable. The room was very clean. We weren't able to adjust the temperature in the room which we would have liked. We did all at the desk but it's possible that language differences made our request useless. It's a great base for Normandy sightseeing."

"I would have liked to know that the safes in the rooms were not in working order. That was frustrating. The only other complaint was the lack of electrical outlets in the room. Other than that, the hotel, staff, grounds, and staff were lovely.

"This hotel is simply amazing, the property is well kept: beautiful landscape, garden, restaurants and bar. We had breakfast and dinner which were well prepared. The breakfast came with fresh squeezed orange juice, variety of bread, crepes, meat and dinner menu has a wide selection, including kid’s plate, seafood, meat and desserts. They have an extensive dessert menu also.
Everyone is simply attentive, kind, and welcoming. Receptionists, servers, and team members were fluent in English....

"This is a wonderful gem! The old character was just what I hoped for and more! The grounds were relaxing, especially the orchard. The history book in the room was fun to read. Home cooked breakfast was top notch and the hosts were extremely kind and helpful. We felt welcomed and at home, I’ll definitely be back if I’m in Bayeux again!"

"The hotel has very small rooms. We booked a room for 3 and now we know that you can have a kids bunk bed above an adult bed. The room has a heater unit that only went down to 17 degrees. There was just enough room to walk round the bed and you have to be careful when you get out of the bathroom as if somebody is sitting on the edge of the bed you will get them.
Otherwise loads of parking and room was clean. If for 1 person it is fine."
