"The staff was very friendly and accommodating but the first room I got smelled like mildew. Asked for a new room and got upgraded at no charge to one of the newer buildings. Beautiful location but even the new room was uncomfortable, minus the smell, all the furniture was dated and the room was dark. I don't think I would return but really appreciated the staff for doing their best."

"Valdonica is located in the most spectacular nature, overviewing the vineyards, mountains and you can even see the sea. "We had a great stay for 4 days. They helped us check in with ease and brought our luggage to the room for us. Gave us a list of recommended restaurants which did not disappoint. Staff also arranged for us to get picked up from the train station. This was helpful because during the month of August many Italians vacation so the train station seemed somewhat deserted. "Absolutely amazing. Even the morning was cloudy and overwhelmed with fogs, the view was spectacular with view of 'Abbaye de San Galgano'. The breakfast buffet was also more than delicious. Specifically, the salamis were cut from the staffs, not those bought from manufactured products, which also tasted great. The person who helped our check-in and -out was the only person fluent in English, but you can conversate with other staffs with no problem using your body language, don't worry about this....

"This pristine and beautiful property took our breath away upon arrival. Five star service and amenities abound. Our suite was stunning and well appointed. We felt as if we stepped back in time and were reminded of what outstanding service and accommodations should be like ~ a much needed respite after a busy week in Florence. "I had a wonderful experience staying at this rental apartment. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location was perfect—close to shops, restaurants, and public transportation, but still quiet and relaxing. The host was very friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy. The bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the kitchen had all the basics. I really felt at home during my stay. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay. "
