"Staff exceeded our expectations, and made the stay very enjoyable, despite a couple minor issues. We have tried out numerous hotels in medellin over the years and this is by far our favourite, so it has become our number 1 choice in medellin. Minor Issues- there is no AC in the common area/living room and kitchen, which can get quite hot during the day. However, the bedroom AC works amazing which is most important. Lastly, I would avoid using any wine glasses, 2 broke while just rinsing them...

"I booked nearly 10 nights here but could only endure 2 before escaping to a proper hotel. This was by far the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had: • Filthy & Neglected: The room was not cleaned properly, with visible dirt and holes in the walls that allowed all kinds of bugs to come inside. • Noise & Zero Rest: Guests constantly passed by my door making loud noises late into the night. Sleep was impossible. • Basic Hygiene Ignored: I had no hand soap. Despite requesting it multiple...

"Casa Medallo was an excellent option for us while visiting Medellin. Beautiful room, charming decor, lovely garden by the kitchen. Very peaceful place. The location is great with easy access to the metro, and within walking distance to nice shopping malls. I'd absolutely recommend this place."

Food and Beverage offering is really good but it can improve with some details oriented concept and agresive marketing. Need better parking. Coffee shop is a relaxing spot to read or work. "I have been to Medellin over a dozen times and recently had my best hotel experience here. Nice staff who go out of their way to help and please. Rainfall shower with immediate/perfect hot water. No street noise at night and very comfortable bed with comforter. Restaurant was good for breakfast and other meals along with close proximity to shopping malls with additional options. "

"The staff were very friendly however, the hotel let in a lot of traffic noise, and unfortunately the cafe/restaurant was only open until 3. I did not see a spa anywhere on the premises. The food came in very large portions so you may want to share. It was delicious!"
