Great little stopover hotel in a convenient place with plenty of parking. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Nothing glamorous about it or the area it is in but, for me, it is a better hotel with nicer rooms than you’ll find in Troyes centre for the price. Would recommend and stay again.

Fabulous stay

As usual AKENA Troyes was excellent in every way possible, have stayed 4 times on route to our home in montelimar and have not been disappointed at all , so clean and Freindly, fab breakfast and really comfortable lounge and bar area for relaxing

Perfect stopover Hotel

Perfect hotel for our stopover on the way back to the Eurotunnel from the Alps. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, great value, friendly staff and great location. EV chargers on site and a Buffalo Grill right next door for dinner! They still had their Christmas decorations up which made it cosy and welcoming.

Quick stop over on route to Val Thorens - arrived very late in to the night but service was smooth and the secured parking was a bonus. Comfortable bed, friendly staff and very hospitable- they offered us free morning pastries and tea/coffee.

Great stopover hotel on outskirts of Troyes!

Great hotel for stopover en route to Tuscany. Stayed 2 nights as wanted to explore Troyes - beautiful. Hotel staff very friendly & welcoming. Nice bar and close to a buffalo grill, Carrefour etc. Had a problem in the room on 2nd night and it was sorted straight away (they immediately moved us to another room). Great service. Would recommend.

Warm and friendly service on arrival. Rooms are basic, reasonably clean (dusty in places and carpet could have been cleaner), and easy and secure parking. The area is fine if you’re looking for a convenient stop over hotel but too far to walk into central Troyes. As usual with the out of town hotels, restaurant options are limited but adequate for one evening. Or you can walk 10 minutes to a massive supermarket and stock up and feed yourself that way.

The property itself was nice, it was clean and functional, good bedroom sizes. The downside was the issues and the lack of coffee. I paid on arrival. My husband went to the bar to get some drinks, and was charged again for the room, he had been getting the cases from the car so didn’t see me pay. When we challenged the staff he did refund us, said it would happen automatically, but half hour later called us down with our card. then it turns out he refunded too much and called us back again to pay back the £12 he over charged. Was told the coffee machine was free to use but remained switched off, The hotel was good, but let down by the back and forth because of their errors. Would likely book somewhere else next time
