We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was extremely attentive and the hotel was modern and very clean. It looked nice in the photos, but it is nicer in person. Location was great! very close to the train station which was very convenient. Also close right in the center of all major shopping and restaurants, yet it was quiet and private in the back of an alley.
Room was very clean. Staff were very polite, courteous and attentive. The massage chairs were great for guests after long flights and long day of sightseeing.
The futons were very comfy and the hotel is perfectly located in the center of a shopping area and just across the street from the trainstation. An excellent place to stay when coming from Tokyo to Kyoto! The breakfast was very traditional as well and the hotel provided yukatas for guests to wear, as well as an onsen.
Super clean room with excellent location. It was not on the main busy street, so our stay was nice and quiet. Friendly staff and wonderful dinner and breakfast, I'd totally come back.
The location was so conveniently located to Kyoto station. The moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted by the lovely staff and the most serene environment.
The room was well appointed and met our needs perfectly. The yukatas provided were luxurious and our only regret was that we weren’t able to wear them to use the onsens. The icocoon massage chair was a great alternative.
We had the 7am breakfast and were very impressed by the offerings. The ryokan also generously held onto our bags after check out while we shopped in the area. Their lobby also had a wonderful selection of souvenirs available for purchase.
We would love to return and spend more time in this ryokan, or at the very least, live vicariously through anyone who books a stay based on this recommendation!
The room was beautiful, with tatami floors. We loved the shower room and bath, and the size of the beds and room. Excellent private and public onsen amenities. Great location, close to shops and Kyoto Station.
I loved this ryokan, spacious and traditional. All the cleaning wa spotless and the service was great. Great location, near the main station and buses, but also a lot to do in the area. Would definitely recommend

Very clean room, friendly staff, and very close to Kyoto station which is also nice especially if you have a lot of luggage. It was very nice to stay in a traditional style room with a lot of amenities like an onsen.
Wonderful stay overall—this hotel comes highly recommended. The room was very clean and spacious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was delicious, and the onsite amenities were fantastic. The location was also very convenient, making everything easy to access.
A great choice, with many reasons to return in the future.
The property is within easy walking distance to Kyoto Station for quick access to JR Railway, Shinkansen, and local Kyoto transit, offering travel options to many of Kyoto’s historical sites including Nara, an easy day trip. Staff was great for easy check in and check out. Public bath inside the hotel was a big plus after full day of visiting Kyoto’s historical sites.
Very clean, Staff are very nice and helpful. Close to Kyoto station which is convenient (6min walk). If you are tired but still want to explore, its close to shopping/dining areas like Yodobashi Camera, Restaurants, coffee shops anf Kyoto tower. The japanese inn experience was good.
The rooms were clean, the bath excellent, the food awesome. Not for multiple nights as it is a traditional on the floor living, but definitely something to try.

Friendly staff and a very beautiful accommodation. Recommended!
Conveniently located eight minute walk from the train station. Hotel is close to amenities and other transports to get you around Kyoto. Japanese style breakfast was very good and the stuff is very friendly. They also have a large communal bath, and you can also rent out a private bath.
The location, just one block from Kyoto Central Station, is exceptionally convenient. The hotel is immaculately clean. While the staff’s English knowledge is somewhat limited, their warmth, attentiveness, and willingness to assist more than compensate, resulting in truly outstanding service. The highlights of our stay were the traditional Japanese breakfast and the experience of sleeping on tatami, both of which added a memorable touch to our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay at this exceptional Ryokan.
Excellent service! Welcome tea provided with small snack. We used luggage forwarding and they brought our luggage to our room (without any prompting). Very courteous service. Several onsens including an onsen that allows tattoos. (You can also pay for a private onsen). Please try the food! You will be so full and satisfied. Please note that you do NOT wear shoes in the dining area.
