Our stay at your Hotel was fantastic, The rooms were lovely comfortable and the Hotel position was ideal for shopping and site seeing , close to the train station. The staff were kind and helpful even lending us a stroller for our grandson as there wasn’t any hire place close by . Location was excellent as it was very close to the subway. Starbucks was located beside the hotel - definitely a bonus. This is an older hotel so rooms are a bit dated, however, they are spacious compared to other Japanese hotels.

The location was great, close to Nishiki Market area. Very close to Shijo Subway Station. The staff was very helpful. I left behind a cell phone at the airport and I had to have them ship to this hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful and agreed to pay upon receiving, knowing that I'll pay them back when I got there. Only thing that would have made it even better was the drink availability in the room. They had green tea packets but no coffee packets. I'm a coffee drinker and enjoy having a cup of coffee upon waking up. It was not a big deal, though. Everything else was amazing.

Desafortunadamente, no notamos que reservamos una habitación para fumadores, la verdad pensé que este tipo de habitaciones ya estaban prohibidas en los hoteles, por lo que todo el piso y la habitación olían a tabaco, hasta nuestra ropa se impregnó del olor. Aunque la habitación es espaciosa y el baño también, parecen un poco viejas, a comparación de otros hoteles. El desayuno era una combinación de americano y japonés, bastante completo, pero no espectacular.

The location was prime and central to everything but the central heating was so old that the rooms were like saunas. No individual room temperature controls. Everyone was so uncomfortable, no one slept well for three nights that we stayed there. We ended up getting a fan but the room was still stuffy and dry.
